We’re marking 70 years since Rock Around the Clock was first shown in Bath at The Forum on Sunday 2 September 1956.
“There was jiving and shouting at the Forum Cinema, Bath, last night during the performance of this film, but no police action was necessary”
(Bath Chronicle 3 September).  People clapped! Tapped their feet! Jived in the aisles!
Come and rock’n’roll and see what all the fuss was about (but no bad behaviour on this occasion, please).
