Claire Dimond Mills  is an experienced Genealogist who is passionate about rediscovering our ancestors and sharing their lives, stories and achievements and how they shaped our communities. She will be giving a talk on Brunel’s Box Tunnel and how it was built with 4000 navvies descending on Box and how that impacted the village, and what the most common causes of navvy death were. It also looks at the lasting impact on the people of Box including the importance of the suffragette movement.
